TRAINING PROGRAM FOR
DIRECTING IN THE IGNATIAN TRADITION
SEPTEMBER 2010
Ten-Month Program for Directing in the Ignatian Tradition
Loyola Retreat House will offer a training program beginning in September, 2010. The Program will include seminars on the text, structure, and dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, discernment, and skills for directing. Ongoing reading assignments will be included in the program. This program will extend from September to June and consists of eight monthly Saturday meetings from 9:00 to 4:00, and two weekends in residence. During one of the weekends the interns will direct two retreatants and be supervised by the staff. (The interns will bring two retreatants for this weekend retreat.)
Requirements:

Completed the full experience of the Spiritual Exercises (30 Day Retreat or Full term 19th Annotation Retreat.)

Foundational knowledge in areas of contemporary theology, scripture, spiritual life, psychology.

BA degree or equivalent life experience.

On-going discernment of the call to this ministry.
